At the culmination of each Badgerdog workshop session (Fall, Spring, Summer) Badgerdog proudly showcases participating student authors at its Community-Wide Reading/Youth Voices in Ink Anthology Release Party. This tri-annual event allows students the opportunity to read before a large, public audience, while celebrating their status as published authors. A reception and signing party follow the reading. The Community-Wide Reading for the Fall 2009 anthology was held December 5, 2009, St. David's Episcopal Church. World-renowned poet Naomi Shihab Nye was our guest speaker. Thank you so much to Naomi, the students authors, and all who came out to support them.
